Do I still have to actively apply for jobs?

You can be exempted from being an active jobseeker and attending meetings in the Jobcenter and the unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse) up to 6 weeks before you start in a full-time position.

Send documentation via Digital Post to be exempted

The documentation must show the start date and working hours, as it is a requirement that the position is a full-time employment.

Remember to unsubscribe on Jobnet

You must unsubscribe as unemployed on Jobnet yourself. You can do this up to 4 weeks before your first day of work.

When you unsubscribe on Jobnet, you are automatically unsubscribed from the Jobcenter and the unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse).
