How do I register holidays?

If you are going on holiday, you must report it no later than 14 days before on Jobnet.dk – but please register your holiday on Jobnet as soon as you know when the vacation is due. Thereby, you avoid having a deadline to book a meeting, or to be called in for a meeting at the Jobcenter, when you really wanted to be on holiday.

As a starting point, you cannot take a holiday if you have already been called in for a meeting or other activation activities related to the Job Centre or the unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse).

What do I do if my child is sick?

In order to receive unemployment insurance, you must actively be pursuing work opportunities offered by the Job Centre. Your child's illness or lack of childcare is therefore not a valid reason for cancelling a meeting at the Job Centre or attending a job searching course.
